Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
The short version
- Only upload photos of yourself or of people who gave you permission — never anyone under 18, and no celebrities or public figures.
- Don’t use a video to deceive, harass or impersonate anyone.
- Report a video at [email protected]. If it shows you and you didn’t agree to it, we remove it.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to everything uploaded to or generated with MigosAI (the “Service”). It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
- Inputs: the photos you upload.
- Outputs: the generated videos, including their audio.
The Service does not accept text prompts. Every video uses the same scene and performance, which we set, so the content of a video is determined by the photos supplied.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use the Service to generate any of the following six categories:
- Pornography / NSFW content — including nude, sexual or sexually suggestive photos.
- Violence / gore — including photos depicting injury, weapons used against people, or cruelty.
- Hate speech — including hateful symbols, slogans or gestures in the photos.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — including any photo of a person under 18, for any purpose.
- Deepfakes / impersonation of real people — a video of anyone who has not given you permission, any video of a celebrity, public figure or politician, or any video used to impersonate someone or to pass as real footage.
- Copyright / trademark infringement — photos you do not have the right to use, or that are built around someone else’s logo, brand or artwork.
2.1 Zero tolerance
The following are removed immediately, end in a permanent ban, and may be reported to the authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving a minor.
- Non-consensual sexual or intimate content depicting a real person.
- Content promoting or facilitating terrorism, extremism or mass violence.
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
2.2 Prohibited conduct
- Presenting a video as real footage of real events, or spreading misinformation with it.
- Using a video to harass, bully, threaten or defame anyone.
- Infringing anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
- Automating or bulk-generating videos, or using the Service to produce spam.
- Trying to bypass the safety screening, usage limits or credit system.
3. Content moderation
3.1 Automated safeguards
- No free-text prompts. Users cannot steer a video toward other content; the scene and performance are fixed.
- Upload checks. Only JPEG, PNG and WebP images up to 8 MB and at least 300 pixels wide are accepted.
- Provider safety screening. Every request — the two photos and the generated video — is screened by our AI video provider’s content-safety system (Seedance 2.0 by ByteDance). Requests it flags, for example for privacy or copyright reasons, are refused and the credit is returned.
- Usage limits. Up to 3 generations per account in any 24-hour period, one at a time.
3.2 Human review
Every report is reviewed by a person — the operator of the Service — against this Policy.
3.3 Records
We keep a record of every generation, including the provider’s screening result, so that reports and appeals can be checked against what actually happened.
3.4 Severity levels
| Level | Examples | Action |
|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Any minor; sexual content; terrorism | Immediate removal, permanent ban, report to authorities where required |
| L2 — High | A real person without their permission; harassment; hate | Removal and account suspension pending review |
| L3 — Medium | Public figures; copyright or trademark | Removal and a warning |
| L4 — Low | Other misuse | Warning; removal if needed |
4. Reporting
Report a video that breaks this Policy — or that shows you without your permission — to [email protected]. Include the video link and tell us what is wrong. If a video shows you and you did not agree to it, we will remove it.
- Confidential: we do not reveal who made a report.
- Impartial: every report is judged against this Policy, not against who sent it.
- Good faith: knowingly false reports are themselves a breach of this Policy.
5. Response times
| Level | First response | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Within 24 hours | Within 48 hours |
| L2 — High | Within 2 business days | Within 5 business days |
| L3 — Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days |
| L4 — Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
If a case needs longer, we tell the reporter why.
6. Enforcement
| Action | What happens | Typically for |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | A written notice | A first, minor breach |
| Content removal | The video is deleted | Any confirmed breach |
| Credit forfeiture | Unused credits are removed without refund | Serious or repeated breaches |
| Account suspension | Access is paused pending review | L2, or repeated breaches |
| Permanent ban | The account is closed for good | L1, or repeated L2 |
| Legal referral | Reported to the authorities | Criminal-level L1 |
7. Appeals
If you think we acted in error, email [email protected] within 30 days of our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. We re-examine the case against this Policy, including any new information you give us, and reply within 10 business days.
8. Changes to this Policy
We give at least 15 days’ notice of material changes. Continued use after that means you accept them.
